IPSpy.net utility catalog
Tools with clear privacy boundaries
Choose a focused network, security, developer, or time utility. Most tools process input only in this browser. IP Lookup is network-backed and names its providers before describing the result.
Runs in your browser
Local tools do not need a utility provider. Raw input and output are not intended for URLs, persistent storage, analytics, or automatic clipboard actions.
Uses network providers
IP Lookup contacts Cloudflare trace for public-IP discovery. Approximate location and map providers are contacted only after the visitor activates that separate action. A network label is a data-flow disclosure, not a claim that a result is exact.
9 active tools are listed. Retired compatibility notices are deliberately excluded from discovery.
Network and address tools
Understand your public IP and calculate address ranges without presenting address math as a scan.
IP Lookup
Network-backedFind your public IP, then explicitly choose whether to load approximate location context and a map.
Network-backed. Cloudflare trace provides the public IP on page load. Only after an explicit action does IPSpy.net's same-origin Cloudflare Worker return Cloudflare's approximate network metadata for that request; both IP lookup requests refuse redirects. OpenStreetMap tiles load only when usable approximate coordinates are returned.
CIDR Calculator
Runs locallyCalculate IPv4 and IPv6 prefix boundaries locally without scanning or testing reachability.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: One IPv4 or IPv6 prefix up to 256 characters.
Security and integrity tools
Generate secrets or calculate checksums with clear boundaries around randomness, privacy, and provenance.
Password Generator
Runs locallyGenerate a bounded random password in your browser.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: From 8 through 256 characters; the default is 16.
SHA-2 Checksum
Runs locallyCalculate SHA-256, SHA-384, or SHA-512 for bounded text or a local file.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: Up to 1 MiB of UTF-8 text. One file up to 25 MiB, read in browser memory.
UUID and Random IDs
Runs locallyGenerate UUID v4 or bounded random identifiers and inspect UUID syntax locally.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: From 1 through 100 generated values.
Developer data tools
Inspect and transform text formats locally without executing content, fetching destinations, or saving inputs.
Encoding Tools
Runs locallyTransform strict UTF-8 text with Base64, Base64url, and hexadecimal locally.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: Up to 1 MiB of UTF-8 text.
URL Inspector
Runs locallyInspect absolute URL syntax and percent-encode components without fetching the destination.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: Up to 16,384 URL characters, measured as UTF-16 code units. At most 256 ordered query entries.
JSON Formatter
Runs locallyValidate, format, and minify bounded strict JSON without executing or saving it.
Runs in this browser. Input is not sent to a utility provider.
Limits: Up to 1 MiB of UTF-8 text. At most 100 nested levels. At most 100,000 visited values. Formatting, minifying, and key sorting stop before output exceeds 4 MiB of UTF-16 code units.
Date and time tools
Format and interpret date-time values with explicit timezone and precision caveats.
What to expect
- Limits are visible before expensive local processing begins.
- Copy and Clear are explicit controls; output is never auto-copied.
- Syntax, checksum, UUID, location, and address-range results include caveats instead of unsupported trust or provenance claims.
